How great would it be to acknowledge Mr. Troxel's service to this country and remember his birthday by sending him a card or a note beginning now and continuing until at least April 17th.

Recil Troxel’s daughter says he loves getting mail of any kind and sits in his chair watching for the mailman. He doesn't get much mail anymore, but when he does, he gets a great deal of pleasure from such a simple gesture.
Mr. Troxel was born April 17, 1926. Family members said he fought in World War II and served as a combat engineer in the Pacific Theater - Guam, the Philippines and Saipan. When he was discharged from the Army, he returned to Marlow, Oklahoma, where he lives now…"
