I know a guy who's an attorney and knew Girardi. Used to travel in his circles and his comments on Girardi are that he has or had at the time, about a dozen mistresses on the side, frequented Las Vegas, and traveled everywhere around town in a limo. The point, he spends money like water, is a big partier/heavy drinker, has to pay alimony and support to numerous ex-wives, and is basically bust living on credit and borrowed time. Seems like the type who is easily "on the take." Maybe worthy of some further digging?
