The "Iraq's WMDs went to Syria" thing from last bread is dumb, for two reasons. First, Syria was one of Iraq's regional enemies, due to their alliance with Iran. Saddam despised both Syria and Iran. Second, Iraq had no modern WMDs to allegedly ship there - all Iraq had by the time of the second US invasion were expired and unstable WMDs from the 80s - shit even ISIS wouldn't touch when they briefly controlled some of Iraq's WMD storage sites.
I don't think the CIA would want to handle past-shelf-life chemical weapons either.
