The Atlantic’s Jemele Hill Alludes to Assassination During State of the Union Address

The Atlantic’s Jemele Hill referenced a public assassination during President Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night.

Hill, a far-leftist who despises Trump and has falsely labeled the president a “white supremacist,” alluded to the assassination of Malcolm X, who was gunned down in front of his supporters and family while preparing to give a speech at the Audubon Ballroom in 1965.

“[P]lease let @AOC yell out ‘whose mans is this,'” actor Desus Nice posted on Twitter.

Hill responded, “Nah, she gotta yell: GETCHO HAND OUT MY POCKET.”

— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) February 6, 2019

The”GETCHO HAND OUT MY POCKET” quote refers to the last words Malcolm X probably heard before he was gunned down.

In February 1965, as Malcolm X stood before about 400 people for a Manhattan speech, a man in the crowd yelled, “Get your hand out my pocket!” in an apparent attempt to create a diversion. While Malcolm X’s bodyguards approached the man who yelled, three other men charged the stage, firing a sawed-off shotgun and handguns. Malcolm X died of 21 gunshot wounds.

The reference was not lost on Hill’s 1.1 million Twitter followers:

Tucker Carlson: Stacey Abrams Says Identity Politics Will Unite Country; She Wants A Revolt

Posted By Ian Schwartz

On Date February 7, 2019

Tucker Carlson delivered a monologue Wednesday night on Stacey Abrams' response to President Trump's State of the Union. Carlson said Abrams believes identity politics is the great uniter and that "the less we have in common the more united we will be." The FOX News host said she is really selling "bitter division" amongst "marginalized" groups and "dominant" groups.

"Her speech last night wasn't much she talked mostly about herself but far more interesting was a piece that Abrams wrote in this month's 'Foreign Affairs' magazine. The piece is called, 'Identity Politics Strengthens Democracy,' and if you want to understand what the Democratic party seeks for this country you ought to read the piece," Carlson said Wednesday.

"Abrams spends the bulk of the piece calling on what she describes as the 'marginalized' to unite against the 'dominant groups,'" he explained.

"So who is marginalized and who is dominant?" Carlson asked. "It's not a small question, in the scheme of identity politics is the only question that matters. Everything rides on who was the victim and who is the oppressor, that's the entire equation. And Abrams spells out the answer in very clear language. The marginalized, she writes, include "women, Native Americans, African-Americans, immigrants, and the LGBTQ community."

"The dominant are everyone who is left, so do the subtraction," Carlson concluded.

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS: A woman named Stacey Abrams gave the Democratic rebuttal to the State of the Union address last night. Abrams is not an office holder, she's a former state legislator from Georgia. She lost the governor's race in the last election. Nevertheless, party leaders clearly have big plans for Abrams.

Her speech last night wasn't much she talked mostly about herself but far more interesting was a piece that Abrams wrote in this month's 'Foreign Affairs' magazine. The piece is called, 'Identity Politics Strengthens Democracy,' and if you want to understand what the Democratic party seeks for this country you ought to read the piece.

Abrams went to Yale Law School so the article itself is a chore to get through. It's written in that cloying, indirect academic style that passes for erudition among our credentialed elites. Lots of meaningless adjectives, very few declarative sentences. But you get the point anyway, it's crystal clear.

"By embracing identity," Abrams writes in the final sentence, "Americans will become more likely to grow as one."

Ponder that for a second, the less we have in common, the more united we will be. Is that true? Well, of course not, it's absurd. Even Stacey Abrams doesn't really believe it, nobody does.

Abrams doesn't bother to defend that premise much less explain how exactly identity politics will unite this country. Unity is definitely not what Stacey Abrams is interested in, just the opposite. What she is selling is bitterer division. Abrams spends the bulk of the piece calling on what she describes as the marginalized to unite against the "dominant groups."

So who is marginalized and who is dominant? It's not a small question, in the scheme of identity politics is the only question that matters. Everything rides on who was the victim and who is the oppressor, that's the entire equation. And Abrams spells out the answer in very clear language. The marginalized, she writes, include "women, Native Americans, African-Americans, immigrants, and the LGBTQ community."

The dominant are everyone who is left, so do the subtraction. That's only one group, you know exactly who they are and so does Stacey Abrams. She says these people, these unnamed people, are responsible for the suffering of everyone else and we need to overthrow them. She uses the language of violence and war to describe what must come next: "politics is the most effective method of revolt."

Revolt. People get hurt in revolts, that's the nature of revolts. Stacey Abrams knows that, she wants one anyway, she doesn't hide it. Demagoguery like this would make a kind of sense if your only interest was in winning elections and you didn't care about what happened afterward, that's where Democrats are right now.

2020 Democrats storm California for cash

A political gold rush is starting up in California, well before the field settles in the Democratic presidential contest.

Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey is starring in a Feb. 23 reception at the Atherton home of Laura and Gary Lauder, according to an invitation obtained by POLITICO.

Kamala Harris, the home state senator in the race, is scheduled to appear at a Sunday fundraiser in San Francisco hosted by friend and former Hillary Clinton donor Susie Tompkins Buell — after headlining a pair of Los Angeles-area events last weekend hosted by NBCUniversal’s Jeff Shell and his wife, Laura, and David Cooley, owner of The Abbey in West Hollywood.

Tickets for Harris’ event begin at $250, while the Booker reception starts at $500.

Next week, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro is expected to meet one on one with potential donors in the San Francisco Bay Area, a person familiar with the meetings said. In Los Angeles, longtime supporters of Joe Biden, who is considering a run, said they’d been hearing from the former vice president and his aides of late.

While its Super Tuesday presidential primary is making the delegate-rich state a pivotal stop, California is also a veritable ATM for candidates who have spent years cultivating relationships there. Biden raised money in Southern California in October, after appearing on behalf of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who is urging him to run. Others, including Montana Gov. Steve Bullock and former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, have been reaching out to potential supporters.

In her note, Buell, who condemned Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) for calling on then-Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) to step aside following sexual misconduct allegations made against him, called Harris “a fierce fighter.” “I believe she has what it takes to win and to be an outstanding president,” said Buell, who attended Harris’ campaign kickoff last month in Oakland.

The Lauders said they got to know Booker, a graduate of Stanford University, in the early 2000s when he participated in the Aspen Institute’s Socrates Society, which led to him becoming a Henry Crown Fellow.

“Although we would settle for any functioning adult in 2020,” the couple wrote in a lighthearted note that lauded his position on criminal justice reform, “Cory embodies the integrity, the brilliance, the caring nature and the ability to understand nuance in a beautiful, humble and passionate way — he is truly the antithesis of our current president.”

The real reason 4 cops got shot in Houston last week

We are sick and tired of having dirtbags try to take our lives when all we are trying to do is protect this community and protect our families…

Well just know, we all got your number now.

We are going to be keeping track of all of ya’ll, and we’re going to make sure we hold you accountable. Every time you stir the pot on our police officers. We’ve had enough, folks.

We’re out there doing our jobs every day, putting our lives on the line for our families. Enough is enough. Now please, keep these officers in your prayers.

That was the Houston Police Officer’s Union President Joe Gimaldi.

He made the comments after 5 cops were injured while serving a warrant.

He thinks that rhetoric critical of police officers is responsible for, what he claims is an increase in police being targeted.

All the headlines would have you believe these cops were ambushed, attacked just for being cops while minding their own business.

But when you look deeper at the case, you realize these cops didn’t get shot because of anti-police rhetoric.

They got shot because they invaded an innocent couple’s home without announcing themselves.

That means that instead of knocking on the door and announcing themselves, police barge into a home with a battering ram.

These SWAT-style raids have increased exponentially over the years. And they are used for less and less serious accusations.

In this case, a couple in their late 50s, with no criminal history, was accused of selling heroin out of the home they lived in for 20 years.

The cops got a warrant to search the home after they claim someone sold a confidential informant heroin at the couple’s home.

Apparently, the word of one druggie informant is all the justification cops need.

Police busted down the door and shot the couple’s dog. The man responded by firing his handgun at the officers.

According to the police chief, narcotics officers “don’t show up in uniform,” when executing search warrants.

So did this guy even know it was police who just invaded his home and shot his dog?

We’ll never know, because dead men tell no tales. The couple was murdered by the police officers.

And there was no heroin found in the home.

Cops murdered this couple, for nothing.

This is how those “brave” officers got themselves shot. Serving a bullshit warrant for a victimless crime in the most aggressive possible way.

Gee, I wonder why so many people are critical of the police.

But the police union president says that we will be tracked and monitored for any word uttered that could be seen as “stirring the pot” on police officers.

The police chief says these officers have to make life or death “split-second decisions.”

Not true. They could serve warrants in a more controlled environment once the suspect leaves the home. They could announce themselves and have a trained negotiation talk the suspects into surrender. (Or better yet, they could stop policing crimes that have no victim.)

These cops put themselves in harm’s way when they participate in this corrupt morally bankrupt “justice” system. They are responsible for their actions.

They woke up that morning, loaded their guns, busted down an innocent couple’s door, and shot them to death.

These cops are not heroes. They are not protecting the community. They are murderers.

Snyder: 'One World Religion' Looms As Pope & Islam's Top Imam Sign Historic Covenant

A historic interfaith covenant was signed in the Middle East on Monday, and the mainstream media in the United States has been almost entirely silent about it.

Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb is considered to be the most important imam in Sunni Islam, and he arrived at the signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi with Pope Francis “hand-in-hand in a symbol of interfaith brotherhood”. But this wasn’t just a ceremony for Catholics and Muslims. According to a British news source, the signing of this covenant was done “in front of a global audience of religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other faiths”…

The pope and the grand imam of al-Azhar have signed a historic declaration of fraternity, calling for peace between nations, religions and races, in front of a global audience of religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other faiths.

Pope Francis, the leader of the world’s Catholics, and Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, the head of Sunni Islam’s most prestigious seat of learning, arrived at the ceremony in Abu Dhabi hand-in-hand in a symbol of interfaith brotherhood.

In other words, there was a concerted effort to make sure that all of the religions of the world were represented at this gathering.

According to the official Vatican website, a tremendous amount of preparation went in to the drafting of this document, and it encourages believers from all religions “to shake hands, embrace one another, kiss one another, and even pray” with one another…

The document, signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Ahmed el-Tayeb, was prepared “with much reflection and prayer”, the Pope said. The one great danger at this moment, he continued, is “destruction, war, hatred between us.” “If we believers are not able to shake hands, embrace one another, kiss one another, and even pray, our faith will be defeated”, he said. The Pope explained that the document “is born of faith in God who is the Father of all and the Father of peace; it condemns all destruction, all terrorism, from the first terrorism in history, that of Cain.”

There is a lot of language about peace in this document, but it goes way beyond just advocating for peace.

Over and over again, the word “God” is used to simultaneously identify Allah and the God of Christianity. Here is just one example…

We, who believe in God and in the final meeting with Him and His judgment, on the basis of our religious and moral responsibility, and through this Document, call upon ourselves, upon the leaders of the world as well as the architects of international policy and world economy, to work strenuously to spread the culture of tolerance and of living together in peace; to intervene at the earliest opportunity to stop the shedding of innocent blood and bring an end to wars, conflicts, environmental decay and the moral and cultural decline that the world is presently experiencing.

On top of that, the document also boldly declares that “the diversity of religions” that we see in the world was “willed by God”…

Freedom is a right of every person: each individual enjoys the freedom of belief, thought, expression and action. The pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings. This divine wisdom is the source from which the right to freedom of belief and the freedom to be different derives. Therefore, the fact that people are forced to adhere to a certain religion or culture must be rejected, as too the imposition of a cultural way of life that others do not accept;

In essence, this is saying that it is the will of God that there are hundreds of different religions in the world and that they are all acceptable in His sight.

We know that the elite want a one world religion, but to see the most important clerics from both Catholicism and Islam make such a dramatic public push for it is absolutely stunning.

You can find the full text of the covenant that they signed on the official Vatican website. I have also reproduced the entire document below…

The Kabaal is moving swiftly

The word “God” is now ordered to be used to simultaneously identify Allah and the God of Christianity.

The diversity of religions that we see in the world was “willed by God” and there are no differences between them.

Human fraternity, not God, is what embraces all human beings, unites them and renders them equal.

All people must have full world citizenship that transcends national borders.

Contains a pledge by made by the Catholic Church and Al-Azhar to announce and convey this “One World Religion” document to authorities, influential leaders, persons of religion all over the world, appropriate regional and international organizations, organizations within civil society, religious institutions and leading thinkers so they can begin its implementation.
