There were so few black actors that would qualify as A+ in the 80s it almost has to be Eddie Murphy. Redd Foxx is a strong link.

It's because as humans we find life much easier when we can compartmentalize good and evil. We try to make it a black and white scenario in our heads. There are far far too many self rightous anons here thinking of themselves as pure good fighting against pure evil when in fact the gray area in between is where we all reside.

Granted yes he was huge in the 80s. My point is when referring to actors A+ would mean all time greats. Nicholson's, DeNiros, Pachinos etc (scumbags I know). Question do you picture every single person who is involved in shady shit as pure evil? No redemption to their soul? Do you realize the same person who could run into a burning building to save someone could also be a kiddy diddler? That an upstanding decorated Marine could also be a sex trafficker. That people who commit extreme acts of wellness could also commit extreme acts of debauchery. Life is not black and white.
I'm not giving anyone a pass here. I know there are true true evil fucks out there who literally take pleasure in missery of others. Those people shall be met with the true wrath. So how do you answer the ones who may have a good soul that was buried by wickedness that they know is evil but gave into temptation anyway? Whether for money or power or sexual desire are they just as punishable as those who committed sins because they actually enjoy commiting sin?
It's not a cut and paste argument. Trust me I used to get all puffed chest thinking what I would do when I get my hands on these people. But that's because I removed the human element and was thinking purely in the good/bad Hollywood context. You do realize Hollywood brainwashing your entire life has given you a good/bad , hero/villian complex right? Life isnt like that.
