Free speech board? lol Unfortunate mental captivity more like it:
Scriptures observe the internals of man as the source of all issues.
Looking at the outside is a relatively worthless look.
John 8:15
Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
Christianity, the Word, presents that other internal adverse agents that are not the person, are in play in man's internal thought processes. That's why Jesus "judged no man." There is another agenct set internally, to judge:
Mark 4:15
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Thoughts control the persons.
Believers are led to align their thoughts with the Word, and generally reject those thoughts that don't align.
Heb. 4:
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2 Cor. 10:
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Jesus tells us that our ultimate fate resides in our own thoughts and actions, and that we can and do control ourselves, or not.
Blaming others will do no good.
The outside has always been a hobgoblin of good and evil, mixed and spread across the board, to all people.
And in some places obviously worse than others.
In today's world we're fortunate just to be able to express ourselves, as the powerful align to control ALL THOUGHTS.
2 Corinthians 6:
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
It's not the Jews or the Muslims or the roman catholics or the Russians or the Chinese or any number of other external forces that would concern a believer.
The wrestling we (all) engage in, is in fact internal, and always has been, a personal wrestling match, between us and our own internal evil thoughts.
Romans 7:21
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
It is inside, that we divide, and separate, and have our Divine Communion with Christ.
Evil is no man, but an internal agency that is not man. The man controlled by the flesh can not see or discern this, because they have been blinded by that internal force, and they instead blame and accuse others when the accuser is in fact within their own heart.
There is a reason to blame and accuse every person, but the root cause is not the person. The flesh man does not see this internal reality, and can not, because he is not in control, nor does he see what is going on inside is not just of himself.
Titus 3:2
To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
We are called to divide. That division is internal. But as much as we divide, the match is always on, in the flesh, for everyone.
