You really should have left that part out unless you were an iraqi on the highway of death. Then surviving desert storm would have been notable. Otherwise it’s like saying i survived a tornado a county over.

Red tuesday was a tougher storm for us then desert storm ever was.
FFS, i know that we are supposed to be supportive and say thank you for your service, but from one to another, don’t celebrate “surviving” desert storm.
It may sound impressive to civilians, but to actual military, it’s embarrassing. Fucking 60 days. I really want to dig in and mock you based on several items on that document, but i’ll leave that off in appreciation that you actually did saddle up.
