Most effective method I have seen is to not let them get away with it by presenting side by sides on Social Media Platforms that show flip-flopping, biased and inflammatory reporting. The Covington Kids for example.
It’s a deep deep psychological tool that’s being applied. Most people don’t want to have to research a topic and would rather just select news and reporting that affirms their world view. Truth be damned.
