I could be way off track here anon but…
I remember watching Barr's confirmation hearing, he was cool, collected, grounded. He didn't have to take the job 'coming out of retirement',
which begs the questions: How deep was Barr's connection to W/DS?
What motivated Barr to come out of retirement, what was the incentive, was he clean or dirty? Was he hmm…given the 'option' to take the job? How far down the DS rabbit hole has Barr gone?
Did Barr flip, which would explain his coolness and resolve possibly as a relief in conscious as form of restitution?
