All this fuss about the Lt Gov of Virginia committing sexual assault on women who say it wasn't consensual brings up a larger moral question that goes beyond why they didn't bring criminal charges at the time.
If the politicians are so willing to violate their vows they publicly made to their spouse and God and thereby destroy the trust their spouse, families, relatives, and friends had in them, then why should the voters trust any politician who breaks his marriage vows?
