the more salient issue is blackmail. Every time a very old charge unseats a sitting lawmaker, I find it very suspicious. If there's one thing I hate more than a corrupt politician, it's the guy blackmailing him to the detriment of the rest of us.

I've felt the whole time that Q's precision w/ regard to her was a strong indication that she was to face earthly justice before anything else.

fyi, her confirmation hearings, she stated that the Talmud was her philosophical guide or some such. (don't quote me) Talmud, of course, features a prayer (Kol Nidre) that one can say in advance of taking oaths that amounts to an agreement to defraud those to whom an oath might be given (i.e., between someone and the "god" of the Talmud… who is clearly ok w/ fraudulent covanents, unlike God.
