McClintock is the same guy who was asking Whitaker about Roger Strone's arrest, and the need for such excessive force.
Whitaker's response was that the agents need to ensure the safety of those being arrested and themselves, and the FBI is prepared to provide a detailed report explaining the factors they considered when they conducted the arrest.
The Roger Stone arrest was all for show.
