Pathologyfag here. Bad as all this sounds with disposing of babies, bear in mind that this is relatively standard for disposing human tissue as medical waste. In an anatomic pathology lab where tissues are received from surgery (amputated leg, uterus from hysterctomy, ect.), these tissues are kept in formalin or in cold storage for a period of time and then dumped together in a waste container to send out for incineration. Just to give you an idea of what happens to non-controversial human tissues.
