"Then she concludes:

“But I can’t do that anymore — I can’t let things slip by. I’m watching you, white boy. And this time, I’m taking the screenshot.”

Her message being that the only way to stop racism and sexism is vigilantly watch and track any evidence that can be used to take down white men later in their careers.

Davis-Marks has published several other racially charged articles that target white people, as villains or as the source of major problems, for the Yale Daily News such as “White Noise” and “The yuppie invasion”.

Her “Evil is banal” is published on the same day that another anti-white article was written for a student newspaper at Dickinson College titled “Should White Boys Still Be Allowed to Talk?”, arguing that “white boys” should listen to more marginalized demographics, instead of speaking themselves, in honor of black history month."

Congressional Democrats are poised to offer a border wall deal to President Trump and Republicans that includes a mere small percentage of funds necessary to fully construct a ‘big, beautiful’ wall on the southern border.

Leading Democrats have said to arranged a deal with Republican legislators that would provide somewhere between $1.3 and $2 billion for the construction of barriers on the southern border. It appears that these funds would be earmarked for structures more closely resembling bollard fences than the wall that was President Trump’s signature campaign promise.

Estimates gauging the full cost of a comprehensive border wall usually price between $20 and $25 billion, leaving immigration patriots with a mere 10% of the funding required for its construction under the agreement.

The deal is being pitched as a means to avoid another costly government shutdown. If signed into law, it would likely only provide around 200 miles of fencing on the southern border, which spans around 2,000 miles."

"As an app, Absher allows men in Saudi Arabia the opportunity to track and control where women travel, as it is Saudi law that every single woman must have a male “guardian” i.e a husband, father, or brother when she travels or goes out in public. Women are not allowed to travel alone in Saudi Arabia and many other Muslim countries because in Islam, under Sharia Law, women are dictated to have less rights than men."

"Yet Harris herself is far from following what she preaches. Since 2015, her campaign has spent around $300,000 on air travel.

Harris’ FEC records also show that she spent less than $7,000 on trains, even though the Green New Deal proposes making trains the main means of transport “at a scale where air travel stops becoming necessary.”

She is, however, an outlier compared to the three other Democrats when it comes to private jets, with no records or media reports indicating that she took a chartered flight.

Still, Harris’ lavish spending on airline tickets – with many of them first-class tickets – even became a campaign issue in 2015 during her Senate run, as the travel also included first-rate hotels around the country all while her staffers had to fly budget and stay in low-end rooms."

"Booker is another 2020 candidate who immediately jumped on the Green New Deal without delving too much on the details, even though he also extensively relies on air travel.

His campaign records show that at least $300,000 were spent on air travel since 2013 by his campaign. He spent just about $11,000 on Amtrak – the Green New Deal’s preferred mode of transport.

While public records don’t clearly indicate whether Booker spent money on chartered flights, multiple media reports have indicated Booker occasionally travels using chartered flights."

"A White House study released on Friday found that President Donald Trump’s Obamacare reforms will save Americans roughly $450 billion over the next ten years.

A White House Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) study released on Friday found that Americans will save $450 billion through Trump’s Obamacare reforms. The CEA suggested that Trump’s repeal of the Obamacare individual mandate and the expansion of short-term insurance plans and Association Health Plans (AHPs) will save Americans billions over the next ten years.

The White House also suggested that the benefits of Trump’s deregulatory actions saved Americans billions, increased access to more health insurance options, and did not amount to a “sabotage” of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

President Trump signed an executive order in October 2017 which expanded short-term limited-duration health insurance plans.

Short-term plans allow for Americans to keep their plans for up to 364 days and to renew their plans for up to three years. Because short-term plans do not have to comply with many Obamacare insurance regulations, insurance companies can offer more customized and cheaper plans compared to the individual market.

Trump also expanded AHPs, which offer businesses and workers more affordable health insurance options. AHPs are health insurance pools sponsored by an industry, trade, or professional association that provides health coverage to their members.

Land O’ Lakes, which created the nation’s first AHP, said that their plans were roughly 50 percent less expensive compared to Obamacare plans.

The CEA estimated that five million Americans will choose an AHP or a short-term plan as the result of the Trump administration’s health care executive orders. The study also suggested that another five million will benefit as the result of the repeal of Obamacare’s individual mandate.

Many Americans have contended that because 80 percent of those who paid the Obamacare mandate made less than $50,000 a year, the individual mandate repeal serves as a significant middle-class tax break.

The CEA said about 87 percent of Obamacare exchange enrollees receive ACA subsidies and “only pay a fraction of their health insurance costs.”

Many Obamacare proponents suggested that the repeal of the individual mandate, as well as the expansion of short-term plans and AHPs, would lead to higher premiums on the Obamacare exchanges.

In contrast, the CEA contended that because more people will use AHPs and short-term plans and fewer people will use the ACA exchanges, the government will save $185 billion over the next ten years.

The CEA said that instead of sabotaging the ACA, the Trump administration offered millions of Americans more affordable health insurance options.

“The oft-expressed view that deregulation ‘sabotages the ACA’ by giving consumers more insurance-coverage options is misguided,” the CEA said."

"Iranian leaders and citizens have been chanting “Death to America” for more than 40 years, but apparently that phrase only refers to the politicians in charge, the country’s supreme leader Sayed Ali Khamenei said.

While speaking to Iranian Air force operators on the 40th anniversary of the country’s Islamic Revolution, Khamenei said his country wouldn’t stop chanting the phrase so “long as America continues its wickedness.” Khamenei’s English-language Twitter account also repeated his remarks.

“’Down with USA’ means down with @realDonaldTrump, @AmbJohnBolton and @SecPompeo. It means death to the American politicians currently in power. It means death to the few people running that country; we have nothing against the American nation,” he claimed."

"An experiment where unemployed Finns were given a basic income failed to encourage them to find work, researchers have found.

“The basic income experiment did not increase the employment of participants during the first trial year,” Kela, the Finnish government agency in charge of benefits, said in a statement on the project’s preliminary findings on Friday.

Kela, in conjunction with the Finnish Centre for Economic Research and other partners including the universities of Turku and Helsinki, began a two-year experiment in January 2017 where 2,000 randomly-selected unemployed people were given a monthly basic income of €560 (£490/$634) regardless of any other income they may have or if they were actively seeking employment.

Researchers found that while the free money had neither negative nor positive impact on the participants gaining employment, “those who received the basic income felt better at the end of the experiment than those in the control group.”

Kela researcher Miska Simanainen told the BBC that the experiment was undertaken to see if there was a way to reform the country’s social security system.

Mr Simanainen told the broadcaster that despite the results, he does not believe the trial had “failed,” rather that it “[gives us] new information that we did not have before this experiment.”

Universal Basic Income is supported by billionaire Silicon Valley elites including Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in June that UBI will become “necessary” if automation makes human workers in some industries obsolete.

However, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) assessed that income taxes would have to increase to cover the cost of UBI, with Finland having to increase theirs by 30 percent if it rolled out the wealth distribution scheme across the country.

The OECD also warned that UBI could, in fact, raise Finland’s poverty rate from 11.4 percent to 14.1 percent."
