You have to understand this, there are a shitton of bubbles out there, like little universen. They each carry their own memes and information and each bubble is not aware of the other bubbles memes or information. Maybe once in a time there is a little leak here and there. If the leak gets too big, damage control kicks in.

The Problem with gamergate;
it made the gamer bubble burst, and leaked a shitton of information to other bubbles. And on top of this , the kind of information that leaked into other bubbles was stuff like 'common core' or 'digra' influence into groups and shit.
It basicly put the gatekeepers into the light and everyone could see how (((they))) hold the narrative, in real time you could see how they would change history.
As Q said, they use all information channels, movies, serie, tv, news paper, social web, comics, games, niche groups, tumbrl, reddit, and so on. This gives them a great reach to many bubbles.
You need to find a way to burst each bubble, a happening that is able to leak from one bubble to the next bubble and so on. But as long the tools of the deep state are in place, they will always be able to maintain the situation. Web 2.0 is one tool they put in place.
