I am of the opinion that HIV doesn't exist and that AIDS is, more than likely, a conflation of general immune system failure with results from new viral testing methods which try to identify a virus through reverse transcriptase, rather than isolation under an electron microscope.
Most modern viruses, I would argue, are actually mirages of this nature, to include new strains of Hepititus.
The thing is that couple studies involving people where one partner has HIV and the other does not have shown that the virus basically doesn't communicate between people having sex - like, at all. Whether they use protection or not. Transmission is less than 1 in 1000 contacts. That means it has extremely low communicability - far too low to spread in the wild.
Which leads me to believe it isn't a real virus, especially given how there are no isolated images of the actual virus particle.
Of course - what is causing AIDS?
Something happened in the 1970s and 1980s that has not ever happened in the history of humanity. Smallpox was eradicated. If you had a weak or failing immune system - smallpox would nail you. It was endemic to the human population and communicability was effectively infinite - you would come into contact with smallpox living on this planet and you would contract it if you had no immunity
(The fair skin of the milk maiden).
So, if you had immune system failure the same way some people have kidney failure - guess what, smallpox is your cause of death. If you are hungry and don't have the nutrition to support your life - smallpox gets you.
When we removed this natural grim reaper from our population, buried disorders could rise to the surface. One of them being categories of immune system failure that would, generally, never be caught. Societies with poor nutrition would not report death from hunger or failing immune systems nearly to the degree they would after the eradication of smallpox.
Thus - HIV is a bogeyman. It is a phantom in the reverse transcriptase method of viral identification. HIV has no reliable incubation period, no reliable communication statistics - people live with it for decades and don't develop AIDS. Others never test positive while having AIDS. It's a mess that basically boils down to a choice by the medical community to support a narrative in the hopes of being "right-enough" to help prevent spread of a disease… Which, ironically, may not be new or communicable.
