Advice for going forward:

Familiarize yourself with the English Bill of Rights. Print it out, highlight the sections on the right to bear arms and the illegality of prosecutions for petitioning the king (to oppose Muslim immigration or EU integration), and hand it to cops.

The cops have to follow shitty orders to keep their jobs but most of them are blue collar folk who would prefer to have their country back. Leaflet them at every protest because they are not going to get accurate information from the Home Office or from commercial media.
