AN INTERPRETIVE APPROACH: A CALL FOR STATE STATUTORY REFORM GOVERNING FETAL TISSUE DONATION.
Here is an article proposing reform at a state level of, what their choice of wording for a valuable life, “anatomical gift” (donation) of “valuable fetal tissue” (aborted fetus) because of the PP defunding at a Federal level.
The article begins with the “heavily edited” CMP undercover videos discrediting the legitimacy of donating fetal tissue for research. The article also includes legal status of donated fetal tissue at Fed and state level, the importance of fetal cells and its uniqueness, successes of research, insufficient alternatives (including 3D bioprints which seems odd), arguments against (which is bizarrely explained as it encourages abortion because woman will want to abort and donate because they know there is beneficial use for and can donate to a cherished cause- dafuq?), proposal for change and remedy which includes adopting Rhode Island’s general laws included in pics above.
I am unclear as to what is being suggested as change and remedy. It sounds like unintentional live abortions being used for research is the ultimate goal for this but I am not a lawfag. I am also unclear of the purpose and outcome of this law journal as it was published in 2016.
