Snowden revealed the lesser of two evils while knowing that it was in place to attempt to go after the greater of the two. It's murky and swampy, and honestly Snowden knows his arguments for freedom so he's really believable. Maybe he himself was confused in the fog of war. Regardless, he could have gone about the whistle-blowing differently if his motives were pure, which they don't seem to be. Greenwald certainly doesn't seem to have been a good choice. Still lots we don't yet know.
