Is there any particular reason why they don't talk about ongoing investigations? I can't think of anything other than (((they))) want to be able to cover up crimes before the details come out. I don't believe you can have justice if anything is kept in secrecy. Justice belongs to the people at the end of the day, it's our right to know about crimes committed against us. I also feel like making it public would encourage people to rely on facts over conjecture.
It has to die so spectacularly that the history books won't be able to be re-written to hide the truth like what has happened with the world wars.
