Rep. Joe Kennedy (D-Mass.) introduced a House resolution Monday challenging President Trump's ban on transgender people serving in the military.
“No one willing to serve in our armed services and sacrifice for this country should be subjected to intolerance and bigotry from their commander-in-chief,” Kennedy, the chair of the Congressional Transgender Equality Task Force, said.

Former White House communications aide Cliff Sims, whose new memoir Team of Vipers was released last month, is suing President Trump.
In a lawsuit filed Monday, Sims claims Trump, in his official capacity, used his campaign as a “cutout” to inappropriately pursue retribution against former staffers, the New York Times reports.
Last week, the Trump campaign filed an arbitration claim against Sims, who they alleged violated the nondisclosure agreement he signed when he joined Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Many White House staffers were required to sign nondisclosure agreements, but Sims claims he cannot remember if he signed one when he joined the administration in 2017.
