Any member of Congress who approves of the border security "deal" should be considered "not on our side." Cutting the number of detention beds undermines Border Patrol and ICE. Limiting wall funding to less than $2 billion and dictating that it must be a fence not a wall directly undercuts POTUS. Unacceptable in the extreme.
POTUS is right. They want a shutdown. I sure hope they get one, because the proposed deal does not get it done for the American people. Thankfully Mitch McConnell seems to recognize this.
