Anon, everyone has their tipping point when they take action. It got too much for me 5 years ago, after at least 15 years of stewing about it. Maybe a bio-thumbprint on your car will be your tipping point.
I now live on a low sustainable salary, drive an old carberueted vehicle, and have sold most worldly possessions. Kid is grown. Battening down the hatches and preparing for a world of earthquakes, intermittent electricity, and political instability. Have not figured out the silver / gold angle yet, still working on that.
