Was just watching a @ScottAdamsSays periscope and he went on to say that Trump missed an easy lay up in legalizing marijuana and that Kamala Harris is smart to fill that vacuum.

I still think Trump will legalize, or at the least remove the substance from Schedule 1, thus making it a state's rights issue.

He is just waiting it out. One thing that has become certain to me about Trump is he likes to hold his cards and set up for a counter punch.

So by not legalizing yet, he is setting the stage on this issue.

Let all the Dem presidential hopefuls out argue on who is the bigger proponent to legalization. Make each use it as major part of their platform. Then as the election nears, pull the rug from underneath of them.

I mean they just spent a year plus using the issue as to why people should vote for THEM. Then the issue is no longer an issue. So why vote for THEM again?

I also don't think Trump wants to debate the issue, so it will be done before the Trump/Dem debates and maybe as late as after the Dem candidate is chosen.

Naysayers say he will not do it because he is sober and his brother passed due to alcohol. But what if marijuana is proven to help people stop drinking? What if it is proven that it helps get people off harder drugs, like heroin? What if it helps vets with PTSD? What if it helps counter drugs pouring across the border? Sounds like it is winning issue to me that fits the Trump agenda.

He is going to do it, he is just waiting for the right time.

So the argument against is to show a symptom of the current situation? Maybe legalization with regulation will help more in this case.

Also, not familiar with cartels being in east Texas. Sounds like fake news to me.
