I hate that "narrative" has become a popular, but accurate term in MSM. "Narrative," as I recall, is a term most commonly used to describe point of view from which a "story" is told, i.e., ficitonal narration or non-fiction biography.
I don't think the term, "narrative" should even be used in journalism. Whatever happened to REPORTING the FACTS? We don't need more "stories." We need reporters who can simply report the facts and leave their opinions about those facts at home.
