Drug users don't see them as Mexican cartels.

They see them as 'connections' and 'employers.'

Until the cartels are eradicated, legalizing pot is a mistake.

They are already here.

Legalization embeds them further in our communities.

THIS is from 2016.

POT GROWS were EVERYWHERE. LOS ZETAS.

Hundreds worked the camps, but only three arrested. The others are still out there.

2018 TEXAS GANG ASSESSMENT, WORK WITH CARTELS

How the cartels are organizing with local 'gangs.'

HIDTA counties are high intensity drug trafficking areas.

East Texas dominates the list.

Here is a state by state designation.

Many HIDTA areas are also considered sanctuary areas.

HERE IS A PIECE TO THE 2013 CARTEL REPORT … THAT HAS BEEN 404d. Check the link yourself.

Meantime the story lays out the details.

Reference to same 404d report. Cartels named, everywhere.

I watch the guys with their 30 pound bags of seeds, their harvest parties, and their daily 'runs.'

We had two growing seasons last year ie two harvests, and will have two, this year, due to the weather.

The cartels use trespassed land to set up their camps, They are armed.

We are at war.

The cartels not only grow pot here, but bring in people (lots of children) as well as fentanyl/meth/coke/pot by the semi load for distribution nationwide via state and federal highways.

I get to wake up and watch people being hauled around in cattle trailers (summer) or small box trailers (winter.)

I watch the meth heads and their retail traffic.

Here we have retail (users sell and live in cartel houses) as well as wholesalers (the distribution runners that go into other counties or states) as well as the importers (the cartel heads that operate the transport system bringing in the semis with help of corrupt law enforcement.)

Funny that one LEO we can call 'NO SHOW JOE' is a DPS NARCOTICS undercover officer working with the cartels.

Wonder if he has anything to do with the 404d report?
