I would, however, argue that wildfires are a natural part of a healthy forest.
Yes, some get caught out in the flames, but that's just life.
If we seek to avoid wildfires, we only postpone the inevitable; And the resulting super wildfire destroys the whole forest.
The dead wood and undergrowth needs to be burned away on a regular basis for a forest to be health and thrive.
We can't expect to make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
God will sort it out.
