I'm not convinced that Maxine owns anything on Tract Map 3357 since there is no Lot #96 shown on the official tract map.
Maybe it was a typo, maybe she owns something in that tract but a different lot #, maybe she owns in a different tract.
There were small gold mining operations all over that part of California. If you study the old maps you can find many former mines identified.
