Planefag checking report of Osprey flying low over Universal City, LA

Quite a bit of mil air traffic shown (133)

Not an abnormal number however

I presume the mil exercises are still ongoing.

Found 2 Ospreys over CONUS, need to localize them.

3 AWACS for air traffic control over a theater of ops, an unusual transports I've never seen before (CN35), E6 over KS/MO line.

This plane caught my eye flying up from Baja California (MX) at 40,000. It shows as military but has a civilian type tail number starting with N meaning registered in the USA, and does not provide aircraft type or callsign. Just weird. Either pilot error or possibly spoopy.

Now I'll try to find out where those Ospreys are.

Over.

Thank you eyewitnesses.

They are not showing us much over LA area but there is an Army Beech Guard Rail south of San Bernadino.

The Beechcraft RC-12 Guardrail is an airborne signals intelligence (SIGINT) collection platform based on the Beechcraft King Air and Super King Air. While the US military and specifically the United States Army have numerous personnel transport variants of the King Air platforms referred to with the general C-12 designation, the RC-12 specification represents a heavily modified platform that facilitates SIGINT collection through various sensors and onboard processors.

The V22 Osprey that was airborne disappeared off ADSB and I haven't localized it. The other one said it was on the GND.

Will be good to sniff around for civilian choppers too and see if they show us anything like an OP.

Are you an idiot, or just never travelled in the West?

These are irrigation circles.

The well or water pipe provides water in the center, and a long boom on wheels rotates about the center pivot. It is a common means of irrigation in the dry West.
