Digits don’t lie, getting 5k back myself
Those that are goin g to be feeling the pain are those people living in liberal cities with stupid high taxes. Can no longer report them on your federal taxes.
That in itself, was a system of redistribution. Everyone pays taxes in, but those in low tax areas didn’t get as much back because they didn’t have much to put on their federal tax forms for deductions.
High tax areas, people paid their city/ state taxes - state got their money, but the people were able to deduct that from their federal taxes, so they got more back than the other people living in low tax areas.
Money from conservative areas, redistributed to liberal cities through federal tax laws.
