Thought last night before bed: what if Roberts is comped, and Trump is using that to his benefit? Suppose Trump knows the DS has Roberts by the balls (think convoluted Obanacare ruling) and offered him a deal to get out (similar to other politicians who've left). Roberts allows BS with RBG to happen. Fraud gets exposed. Trump uses this as basis to go after Supreme Court and reform it to rein it in, making it harder for them in the future to willynilly make rulings with impunity.
I don't see why not. Other courts throw out rulings if fraud is proven. Could be another way for Trump to call for reform to prevent this from ever happening again.
