I have been putting some thought into Ilhan Omar's marriage.

She is not an ugly woman so why did she need to marry her brother?

She couldn't find a single muslim man willing to help her get citizenship?

Not likely. I am wondering if she didn't want to have to consumate a marriage. I am wondering if she is gay and we all know what the punishment is for that in Islam. Her own family would have killed her if they are devout muslims. Think about it, what other reason would there be for choosing to marry her brother?
