That still doesn't support your assertion that "King" (Caesar) meant "Messiah" (Chrestos) when Pilate said it.

In fact, there is no biblical, historical, or linguistic support for your random comment "That meant Messiah back then."

 

I agree that many Jews would have seized Jesus, and forcibly made Him their King, (because the Bible tells me so,) but your comment was not true, according to any translation, (or even the context.)

Nope. You said something provably incorrect, and now you wish it made sense.

It doesn't. Jesus acknowledged that He was the rightful King of the Jews, and somehow, the clear text of Scripture bothered you, so you had to say it meant something else (other than what it obviously said.)
