Old article but you get the idea of how they made the system work for them and their agenda

By:Eugene Girin | April 11, 2014

JavaScript computer programming language inventor, founder and later, CEO of Mozilla free software community Brendan Eich was forced out of his job. And what was Eich's crime or misdemeanor? Was he caught using narcotics, possessing child porn, beating his wife, or abusing his pets? Nope, the hapless executive donated a measly thousand dollars to a political campaign in support of California's Proposition 8, which opposed same-sex "marriage".

The Soviet-style purge of Brendan Eich is the latest attack of what leftist political comedian Bill Maher calls the Gay Mafia. Maher, a left libertarian who combines a visceral atheism and libertinism with an admiration for Ron Paul, called out the persecutors of Eich:

"I think there is a gay mafia. I think if you cross them, you do get whacked. I really do."

The evidence of this mafia's power is evident in the constant howls of outrage that greet any disagreement, however mild, with homosexuality or the gay (or is it "queer"?) lifestyle. Before Brendan Eich, there was the hapless Juan Pablo Galavis - picked out of Hispanic obscurity to serve as the first Latino star of the idiotic, yet popular TV show "The Bachelor". Galavis - a hilariously stereotypical combination of an arrogant, shallow Latino playboy (he compared impregnating his girlfriend to scoring a goal) and a dumb, clueless jock was roundly denounced and thrown off his path to fame when he posted on Twitter that gays "are more pervert [sic] in a sense".

Before Galavis, Duck commander Phil Robertson was roundly denounced for his crude, yet theologically accurate comments on homosexuality. And seems like only yesterday - in fact it was in 1995 - that House majority leader Dick Armey referred to the openly gay congressman Barney Frank as "Barney Fag". Armey then had to blubber out a tearful apology, claiming to have misspoken.

Sometimes the gay mafia (which is not composed solely of homosexuals, but includes quite a few heterosexual leftists) goes after entire countries. Case in point: the West's outrage when Putin's Russia dared to pass laws shielding children from homosexual propaganda. Western leaders refused to attend the Sochi Olympics and Western news networks never ceased to characterize Russia's protection of its children and heritage as evil and oppressive.

In today's America, any denunciation, nay, disapproval of homosexuality is a thought crime, punishable by social ostracism, forced apologies, loss of jobs, and unrelenting harassment. I remember having lunch with my American undergrad classmates about eight years ago and telling them that in the Russian language, there is no such word as "straight" when referring to sexual orientation (a word that only came into Russian usage in the last decade or so). Rather, in Russian, that word is "normal". You should have seen how fast their faces paled and how they began backing away from me, while looking over their shoulders. Like another Russian Jew used to say: What a country!

The Homosexual Mafia Strikes Again

New York City Councilman Ruben Diaz Sr. is in major trouble. In fact, he may be expelled from the NYC Council.

What exactly did Councilman Diaz do? Did he assault someone, commit larceny or voter fraud?

Not exactly. He said the following, which is in a sense being treated worse than the above crimes:

“The City Council is controlled by the homosexual community.”

Diaz also stated that openly-gay council speaker Corey Johnson is married to a man.

In response, Johnson demanded that Diaz apologize for his “homophobic” remarks, which “have no place in New York City.”

Even Diaz’ own son, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., reprimanded his father for his grave sin, tweeting:

“NYC is a place where we celebrate our diversity and inclusivity. The LGBTQ community is unequivocally an essential voice in our City. @revrubendiaz’s sentiments are antagonistic, quarrelsome and wholly unnecessary. He should apologize.”

Thankfully, Diaz Sr. is sticking to his guns. Although he is otherwise a liberal Democrat, he is anti-abortion and anti-gay marriage – something incredibly rare these days in the Democratic Party. Diaz Sr., unlike almost all other Democrats, has not drunk the Kool-Aid.

Conservative students get death threats over ‘Build The Wall’ display

A group of conservative students at SUNY Oswego who hosted a “Build The Wall” campus display Tuesday were hit with a barrage of violent messages on social media that included slurs, expletives — and even death threats that talked about shooting, jumping and greasing them.

The reaction to the Young Americans for Freedom display was so intense that campus officials denounced the messages, launched a police investigation, and reminded students about free speech rights.

It's true, Trump really did start building more wall in Texas

When President Trump said Monday at a campaign rally in El Paso that, “We’ve actually started a big, big portion of the wall today at a very important location, and it’s going to go up pretty quickly over the next nine months," I assumed it was nonsense he was spreading in hopes that his supporters might not mob him on stage for so far failing to keep the central promise of his campaign.

He similarly said Tuesday at the White House, "We just started a big, big section [of wall] on the Rio Grande."

I'm happy to say I was wrong. Trump was telling the truth.

I checked in with agents at the Rio Grande Valley border sector to see if they knew what new "wall" Trump was talking about. They sent me information on construction for new border barrier announced last year. The project funds six miles-worth of concrete and steel barrier of the sort that agents told me in January is immensely successful in deterring illegal border crossings.

The wall will be supplemented by "detection technology, lighting, video surveillance, and an all-weather patrol road parallel" to the barrier, according to a release sent out by the CBP in November.

And the $145 million for it didn't come from some long-ago-passed funding bill passed under former President Barack Obama. It was included in U.S. Customs and Border Protection's budget for fiscal year 2018. Unlike other parts of new barrier construction and reparation, Trump can actually take credit for this one!

A rare visit to the Korean Demilitarized Zone

Despite the inter-Korean thaw of 2018 and the upcoming Kim-Trump summit, there has been no change for sentries posted by the DMZ

“All normal. Situation remains the same.”

It is frigid on this February day on the exposed heights of Observation Post Kumgang. A wind blasts across the Northern Pacific from Siberia, but it is cold for another reason: Despite the inter-Korean thaws of 2018, for the men on the ground, the Cold War on this front line is chilly as ever.

“Our daily tasks remain exactly the same,” said Lt. Col. Bae Suk-jin, a fit-looking officer. “Nothing big has changed.”

Watching violence on screens makes children more emotionally distressed

Children today can access media through both traditional devices, like televisions, and portable devices like laptops and tablets.

With more access, children are more likely to be exposed to violent content – like real-life or cartoons where force is being used and harm is being done to a person or character. Studies show that 37% of media aimed at children have scenes of physical or verbal violence. What’s more, 90% of movies, 68% of video games, 60% of TV shows, and 15% of music videos have some form of violence. In some cases, it’s rising – the amount of violence in mainstream movies has been growing steadily over the past 50 years.

Evidence shows that this can be detrimental to young children. Around the ages of three and four children begin to develop perceptions and expectations about the world around them. These views are strongly influenced by their daily experiences. If children are often exposed to scenes of violence, they may develop a view of the world as a more dangerous place than it actually is.

To investigate this further, and predict the types of mental health outcomes this has, my colleagues and I examined the potential long-term risks associated with exposure to violent media on children’s development. We found that those exposed to violence become more antisocial and emotionally distressed.

The 50 Most Powerful Corporations in the World

How to measure the power of the world’s leading corporations in our globally connected times? No small task – even for gifted MBA students. However, with the help of existing research carried out by respected peers, we’ve attempted this undertaking.

It was immediately apparent that a company’s power is intrinsically tied to key quantitative financial metrics such as turnover, net income, assets and market value. Also playing a major role is influence – in its various forms – whether political or in terms of market impact or reputation among consumers. Plus, in connection with public perception, there is the value and influence of the brand itself.

There are other measures of a corporation’s power, too. A company’s number of employees is an indicator of its size, and larger firms tend to wield greater clout. Yet another touchstone is the company’s presence on a global scale – for instance, the number of countries in which it has a foothold.

Furthermore, what of the people at the top, the CEOs – some of them MBA graduates – holding the reins? Their political connections and sway could very well have a direct link to the power of the corporations they represent.

Such factors and more were taken into account in our endeavor to profile and rank the 50 most powerful publicly listed corporations in the world – from state-owned banking and oil powerhouses to modern tech companies and financial services giants.
