Actually, Dalton is in Whitfield County. It has gone through some very hard times as the carpet/textile businesses have closed and/or automated, but is trying to reinvent itself as a tourist stop along I-75. Cute downtown, civil war sites and outlet shopping nearby.

Apparently he told a neighbor to tell his wife to delete his phone number from her phone, so he was clearly trying to protect them from whatever he knew was coming. I think he is being targeted/hunted because of what he knows or saw. The police in ATL made a big deal of saying that he was not in the type of position at the CDC that would give him access to lethal viruses or classified information. But other sources said he worked on the Ebola and Zika outbreaks. What does he know?
