If he's even half a researcher he'd realize the numerous hit pieces put out by the WaPo.
He'd also realize Q has called out his kind numerous times although not by name.
The latter point he probably ignored in the pursuit of fame and maybe profit.
I think the reason he ignored the former is pretty obvious.
