I think Potus is talking to us.wI think he's telling us to trust him and what do we have to lose? What other choices do we have? Could we do worse than trusting him?
Remember on the campaign trail Potus would tell the black community to take a chance on him. "What do you have to lose?"

I'm not a lawfag but I think you have a very valid point. Congress does control the purse strings and they will fight his EO's based on that argument.
The issue is where the money comes from, not who is going to build it. The biggest problem is signing that bullshit bill. Especially if they snuck something in there that will prevent him from using his executive power.
Many of us share your concern. The options reported in twitter today of where the money comes from is not good. DoD, drug interdiction, disaster relief, etc. All those EO's will be challenged and likely the challenge uphold by lower courts. Could take months to get to SC. The NE will get fast tracked and he will likely win, but look at the damage the spending bill does to ICE and what it does for illegals. At this point, I would rather a CR then allow what the Dems wrote into the bill.
Fucking Congress put us into the shitstorm. I hate every last one of them.
