The MSM at the local level are just parrots regurgitating the network news. You have some stations directly owned by the networks and then groups that will have stations with network affiliation- not the same as network ownership. Watch a little local news and you will see them carry stories from their respective networks from a reporter in DC. Generally, this is a reporter who does stories fed out to all the stations. Mostly one, reporter. (Saves money) Said reporter does almost no real reporting- just repeats what the network said. Network news also supplies stations with stories to use. So the bias is carried all the way through.
If one group ownership spent the money on actual investigative reporting outside of the network, there might be a change. Would the network threaten to yank affiliation?
Stations do have their social media sites though…like radio and newspapers.
