Was on the roof patching a leak when spotted two UH-60s approx. 2-300' AGL flying west approaching US-101/I-405 intersection. Lost them behind trees and ran to get my phone for pic.

When I returned, could not see or hear them farther west down the 101.

Waited 15 minutes and saw no further helo activity, except a lone LAPD helo cruising down the 101 about 600' so didn't think it was worth a trip out.
