"Assault weapons" are banned. "High capacity" mags are banned.
For it to be an unconstitutional form of punishment, it must be both cruel AND unusual. Hanging is not unusual so the "is this cruel and unusual punishment?" test says "constitutional."
Chicago has banned lasers. So has Crook County. Don't feel like going through the ordinances but I wouldn't be shocked if Aurora had also banned lasers. Because, you know, it's impossible to shoot accurately without one.
