There could be others. If they set down they often disappear.
A lynching is a hanging by vigilante/mob justice and may or may not be just.
An execution by hanging after a proper trial is not a lynching.
But muh symbolism, yeah.
My point was that if Congress thinks they can forestall legal executions performed by hanging after a trial for treason, by passing a bill prohibiting "lynching," they are wrong. Anyway there are other legal methods of execution besides hanging.
