I understand what you are saying, anon, but we can only deal with what we have in the here & now. I'm not gambling my rights on anything except the 2nd amendment. You know that previous President's probably have wanted to severely limit our gun rights. It is pointless to worry about what "might" happen 7 years from now. JMHO, sorry for the "sky falling" remark; didn't mean to dis ya.

Agree about the long game. I am 66 yrs old now, I have owned a gun since I was 18 (bought for me by my Dad). For 48 years now I, and a multitude of other gun owners have kept an eye on those that would leave us defenseless & without arms. We survived the assault weapons ban after Columbine, and it finally just expired itself away. You are correct that we must always be vigilant, we must always "assume" that their end goal is to disarm us, that's just common sense. I still believe, just from what I've seen that there are more of us than there are of them. :)

He actually said that the reciprocity should be a separate issue. I agree with that reasoning. He's saying that including that RIGHT NOW would result in NO chance of anything passing.

I think Q meant exactly what he said. The board was all up in the air on who to trust. Q said TRUST WRAY & TRUST SESSIONS & if you don't think that's actually what he meant you're missing something. He used PLAIN ENGLISH.
