The explosive exposé, titled In the Closet of the Vatican: Power, Homosexuality, Hypocrisy, will be released on February 21, the very day that Pope Francis has convoked leading bishops from around the world for a Vatican summit on clerical sex abuse.

In the new book, which in other languages bears the more provocative title of Sodom: Power and Scandal in the Vatican, author Frédéric Martel — who is openly gay and an LGBT activist — accuses the Catholic Church of hypocrisy for its opposition to gay marriage and adoption when so many of its own clerics are active homosexuals.

Uber software engineer Phillip Wang reportedly used “research released last year by chip designer Nvidia to create an endless stream of fake portraits.”

“The algorithm behind it is trained on a huge dataset of real images, then uses a type of neural network known as a generative adversarial network (or GAN) to fabricate new examples,” the Verge reported.

Every time a user refreshes the website, a new realistic face is generated.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) sent out a fundraising email to supporters Friday after President Trump declared a national emergency to build a border wall.

The email excoriates the president for the declaration and gives recipients the option of donating anywhere from $10 to $250, or an amount of their choosing.

“Trump admitted he ‘didn’t need’ to declare a national emergency to build his border wall. If you don’t ‘need’ to do it, it’s NOT an emergency,” Pelosi wrote in the email. “The #FakeTrumpEmergency is a blatant abuse of power. Trump couldn’t extort money for his wall from Mexico or Congress, so he’s stealing it from agencies that keep this nation safe to get his way.”

Sanders told CNN on Friday that she sat down with Mueller's team voluntarily.

"The President urged me, like he has everyone in the administration, to fully cooperate with the special counsel. I was happy to voluntarily sit down with them," she said.

Sanders is one of several current and former Trump administration officials who are known to have been interviewed as part of Mueller's investigation, which is also looking into whether members of Trump's campaign colluded with Russia.

CNN reported that the substance of Sanders's interview is unknown, but that Mueller is likely interested in public statements made by Sanders and other administration officials throughout the investigation.
