A confidential informant told investigators he never bought drugs at the home of Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas.

HOUSTON — In a bombshell development, Houston police investigators uncovered major holes in the story of a narcotics officer who led a drug raid last month that ended in a deadly shootout.

The undercover officer lied in the search warrant, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said after the court documents were leaked Friday.

The style director of Brazilian Vogue has resigned after her 50th birthday party was criticised for evoking themes of slavery.

Donata Meirelles hosted the lavish dinner party last Friday in Bahia, northeastern Brazil.

But the event sparked an online backlash after a guest posted a photograph on Instagram showing Meirelles, who is white, seated on an elaborate throne surrounded by black women in traditional white dress.

Two dead in plane crash in Roberts County

Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed two people have died after a plane crash in Roberts County.

DPS has identified those killed as 75-year old Carmel Azzopardi and 49-year old Paula Azzopardi of Amarillo.

Sergeant Cindy Barkley with DPS says the single-engine aircraft went down just west of the Hemphill County line.

DPS has notified the NTSB and FAA and will secure the site until they arrive for investigation.
