We may be able to have the public cheers for rising stock markets as we print money and build the infrastructure. As long as gold rises faster than the markets and rate of inflation, then we are devaluing the debt in the future money we will be returning too. Since the old system is inherently evil and needs to be disposed of, why not get what you can for our country before striking a deal or backing the dollar? One reason could be that although America first, it is screwing over allies and other countries whom we need to cooperate with in the next system.
