Following high profile incidents involving shootings, there is renewed outcry for gun bans.
Any unnatural death is a tragedy, imo.
Keeping things in perspective becomes important when emotions are running high, there are approximately 40k gun related deaths annually in America.
Of the 40k, 60% are suicides, 25% are homicides and 15% are accidents.
In contrast, there are approximately 700,000 - 1 million abortions annually, in America.
1-3% of the total number of abortions are “late term,” abortions.
Meaning, the number of gun fatalities due to homicide is more than likely less than the number of late term / full term abortions.
Don’t get trapped in the liberal narrative.
