the problem here is that there is no such thing as a "hate crime".

that's criminalizing emotions and feelings.

Battery, assault, theft, murder… lynching… all these things are crimes already and the idea of an hierarchy of feelz declaring them "worse" because they would be linked to feelz is profoundly misguided.

But, by the applied standards that cry about benign halloween and comedians costumes being "hateful", purposefully putting on such a scam not only because of feelz but for the clear intent of spreading more hate & violence completely falls into the definition.

the victims are basically everyone exposed to the fraud, even those that aren't directly targeted, as they are led to fear their neighbours and spread lies.
