Author Glen Tate has a great series of "prepper" books called "299 days." In his books one of his quieter characters who is a silent rebel takes yellow spray paint and goes out in the dead of night and begins to paint, "I Miss America" at visible locations. It's about the only contribution to the effort he can make, but it's one that boosts the morale of the others.
