Italy: Nigerian Mafia Bust Reveals Sexual Slavery, Voodoo Rituals

The Italian authorities have discovered the Nigerian mafia luring young women to Italy and using a combination of threats and voodoo rituals to force them into sexual slavery.

Italian authorities busted the Nigerian mafia operation in the city of Catania, Sicily this week, arresting five leading members including two sisters, Susan Elaho and Naomi Ikponwmasa, Il Giornale reports.

Investigators say that the organisation’s downfall came after a Nigerian girl who had been trafficked by them revealed the extent of their illegal activities, which included luring women from Nigeria and forcing them into street prostitution.

The two sisters were not the only women arrested in the operation. Helen-Susan Ikponwmasa was also taken into custody in Rome, where she also worked for organised crime.

Ohio Performing Arts Center Advertises ‘Shoot the President’ Party Game

An Ohio performing arts center advertised a child’s birthday party package where kids could play a game with Nerf guns called “Shoot the President,” causing a stir among community members.

The Olmsted Performing Arts community center in Berea, Ohio, had recently placed an advertisement on its website for a Nerf gun party with an option to play a game called “Shoot the President.”

“There is one president with bodyguards. Everyone else tries to eliminate or shoot the president,” the party’s description stated.

But some community members shared concerns that the game’s theme could be sending kids the wrong message.

“I think it’s unfortunate that they chose that kind of theme only because of the atmosphere we are living in now,” Julie Berghaus, of Cleveland, told Fox 8.

“For kids, it’s just fun, but they don’t realize what they are being taught subconsciously,” added Berghaus.

THIS IS CNN: Reporter helps Kamala Harris try on clothes during campaign stop

Kamala Harris went clothes shopping as a part of her campaign for president, and a CNN reporter couldn’t help but assist the candidate with picking out a new jacket.

CBS reporter Kaitlin Huey-Burns tweeted a video of Harris in a Columbia, South Carolina boutique trying on a jacket.

When the campaign trail takes you to a boutique and Maeve Reston spots a great sequined jacket for Kamala Harris to try on,” Huey-Burns tweeted, adding the hashtag “campaign fashion report.”

The video shows the candidate as she puts it on and then poses in the mirror.

The women all burst into laughter at the gaudy ensemble.

The CNN website lists Reston as a “National Political Reporter.” Her Twitter bio says she’s “covering Kamala Harris” — literally, apparently.

Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says “if people want to come, they have to come correct.”

It’s essentially the same message routinely used by President Donald Trump and many other conservatives advocating for a real solution to the ongoing crisis of illegal immigrants flooding across the southern border.

“Legal immigrants enrich our nation and strengthen our society in countless ways,” Trump said at his recent State of the Union address.

“I want people to come into our country,” he said, “but they have to come in legally.”
