In Speech to the CIA, Trump Offers to Build Them a Room Without Columns: ‘Do You Understand That?’ …
The word pharaoh ultimately derives from the Egyptian compound pr ꜥꜣ, /ˌpaɾuwˈʕaʀ/ "great house", written with the two biliteral hieroglyphs pr "house" and ꜥꜣ "column", here meaning "great" or "high".
From the nineteenth dynasty onward pr-ꜥꜣ on its own was used as regularly as ḥm, "Majesty".[10][note 1] The term, therefore, evolved from a word specifically referring to a building to a respectful designation for the ruler, particularly by the Twenty-Second Dynasty and Twenty-third Dynasty.
In Egyptian society, religion was central to everyday life. One of the roles of the pharaoh was as an intermediary between the gods and the people. The pharaoh thus deputised for the gods; his role was both as civil and religious administrator.
The Priestly Source (P) is one of the sources of the Torah/Pentateuch in the bible, together with the Yahwist and the Deuteronomist.
P's God is majestic. (Majestic 12 Tribes)
the ankh, symbol of life, thoracic vertebra of a bull (seen in cross section)
the djed, symbol of stability, base on sacrum of a bull's spine (Moloch)
the was-sceptre, symbol of power and dominion, a staff featuring the head and tail of the god Set, "great of strength"
The biblical details about Jared (C/Kush_ner), like the other long-lived patriarchs, are in the book of Genesis.[2] In terms of the documentary hypothesis, the passage about the descendants of Adam (Genesis 5:1-32) is attributed to the Priestly source.[2] A parallel passage (Genesis 4:17-22) which contains a genealogy of the descendants of Cain, is attributed to the Jahwist, another ancient version of the same original genealogy.[2]
